Hello there, staffer! Thank you for your contributions to this year's Vancoufur event. In case you've gotten lost, here are the various online resources you'll need to be aware of as part of the staff. As the convention gets closer, this page will expand to include training materials, instructions on where to go and who to check in with, etc, to help you on your way.

Google Domain

Vancoufur uses Google Apps for most of its digital needs - E-mail, online storage, documentation, etc. You should have been set up with a Google account for the Vancoufur domain during your onboarding. Once you have that, you can log into the various Google Apps you'll need using the links below. If you've been signed up to staff and have not yet received a Google account, or you've forgotten your credentials, e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and someone will be happy to help.

Gmail (E-mail)

Google Drive (File Storage)

Google Docs (Documentation)

Basecamp

To keep our heads straight and our tasks organised, Vancoufur uses Basecamp. It's a task management system that will let you see what has been requested of you and for when, what other people are doing, and how far we all are from the finish line. To log into Basecamp, use your Google domain account.

Discord

For our minute-to-minute discussions, and for online attendance at our staff meetings, we use Discord. Discord is a popular chat and voice system often used by gamers, and client software is available for all major platforms, as well as via your browser. You should create your own personal Discord account if you do not have one. You should be invited to Vancoufur's Discord server as part of your onboarding. If you have not received an invite, or lost yours, e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we can send you a new one.
